The result was better than anticipated as I succeeded in passing the three sections with high scores.

The Yaeger website claims that students who have studied the Yaeger CPA review course have an average pass rate of 88% on the CPA exam. The founder, Dr. Phil Yaeger, has helped prepare people for the exam since 1977. I liked the fact Dr. Yaeger and his team provided access to a teachers help line. It is a valuable part of their student support system and is an 800 number. Needless to say, I made frequent use of this service and even spoke to Dr. Yaeger himself on a few occasions. The instructors were understanding and ensured all my questions were answered before completing the call.

I found the lecture videos quite engaging and led by well qualified tutors. The videos kept to a a simple format where tutors explained the key concepts and gave multiple choice questions and samples. The good thing about the Yaeger system is they placed emphasis on materials with a higher chance of turning up on the exam. The instructors also encourage students to revise the most relevant questions likely to appear in the exam.

Also worth noting are Yaeger's cram DVDs which could be responsible for adding between 5 to 15 points to your exam scores. Every DVD teaches a reduced version of a single CPA section and varies between 7-16 hours. The emphasis really seems to be on finding areas you are weak at and adding belief and knowledge to strengthen them. Even candidates that are using a different CPA review course can benefit from these cram DVDs by using them for supplementary, last-minute study materials.

All Yaeger CPA review course materials are are reviewed on a regular basis, including lesson videos which are recorded annually. It means the course is pretty much current and you can have assurance the material is still applicable.

Surprisingly, in spite of their high quality, Yaeger CPA products cost less than than many other CPA exam review courses. Overall, I am ecstatic with the Yaeger CPA review course as guided me to success in the CPA exam. I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone looking to pass the CPA exam the first time.

Another great thing about the Yaeger CPA review course is that they have promotions from time to time where substantial price discounts are implemented. For example, there is currently such a promotion running. It’s called the “Daisy Discount”, and it allows you to get $275 off the complete Yaeger home study course, or $75 off each section of the exam if you buy each section separately.

So, to recap, the Yaeger CPA review should be your choice of CPA exam review course because:
-It is cheaper than many of the other popular CPA review courses.
-The hotline will come in handy when you need to ask questions.
-It will enable you to minimize study time while maximizing chances of passing, by telling you what materials to concentrate on studying.
-It is updated frequently.
-It is taught by experienced instructors.

You can find links to my favorite CPA exam blog here: pass the cpa exam, pass the cpa exam

<lj:music>Pop</lj:music>
Pop
<lj:mood>apathetic</lj:mood> <lj:security>public</lj:security> <lj:reply-count>0</lj:reply-count>

Passing the CPA Exam Made Easy with Yaeger CPA Review Course

It consists of 4 sections: Auditing & Attestation (AUD), Business Environment & Concepts (BEC), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR), and Regulations (REG). There are many accounting concepts to understand, and many details to commit to memory. To increase your chances of passing the cpa exam, you really need to invest in a good CPA review course.

A good, solid, comprehensive CPA review course I've personally used is the Yaeger CPA Review Course. It is taught by instructors that have a lot of experience, that have the ability to make difficult accounting concepts easy to understand. Their DVD courses will help you to clarify a lot of your confusion. If you still have questions after watching the course DVDs, you can always call the Yaeger hotline to speak directly to the instructors and ask your questions. This service is included when you purchase the Yaeger's CPA review course and doesn't require you to pay extra. Just this service alone is worth the money you pay. Highly recommended!

The Yaeger CPA review course is recognized by many to be one of the best CPA review courses on the market. Most CPA review courses are quite expensive, and although the Yaeger course is worth every cent and is already cheaper than some of the other popular courses of its kind, it still costs quite a bit. The complete course cost $1787, and a single section course cost $545. So why did I use past tense in the last sentence? This is because Yaeger has just adjusted their prices by implementing steep discounts - in fact, their best discounts ever - to their course material. The complete Yaeger CPA review course now costs only $1387 after the discount, which is a massive $400 savings. The single section course costs $420, with savings of $125. So, if you've been sitting on the fence on this one, you'll want to bite the bullet and take advantage of this limited time offer.

There are many reasons why the Yaeger CPA review course is head and shoulders above other CPA review courses on the market today. Here are a few of them:

1)Low Pricing - It is common knowledge that CPA review courses aren't cheap. However, Yaeger CPA review course materials are some of the cheaper ones you can get, as compared to some of the other popular courses such as the Becker or Roger CPA review courses.

2)Great After Sales Service - Did you know that there's a direct number you can call to reach Dr. Yaeger and his team of instructors? You can find this number on the yaeger CPA review website. You can call them to ask pre-sales questions, or if you've already bought their review course you can ask questions that are related to the course materials by speaking directly to an experienced instructor.

3)High Pass Rate - CPA exam candidates that used the Yaeger CPA review course boast an 88% pass rate, which is a lot higher than the overall pass rate for the CPA exam (around 47-50% in 2010).
Don't wait - get the Yaeger CPA review course to give yourself the edge you need to pass that CPA exam!

Don't wait - purchase the Yaeger CPA review course today and pass that CPA exam!

Check out these links to my favorite CPA exam blog: yaeger cpa review, yaeger cpa review

<lj:security>public</lj:security> <lj:reply-count>0</lj:reply-count>

CPA Review Courses - Some Considerations Before You Decide

There are many forums and review sites that offer good insight to the most useful courses. Feedback given on those sites will help you make the best choice.

Additionally, the lectures can be available through a variety of media, such as recorded webcasts, CDs, DVDs, or USB. If course material access is restricted, it limits how you can benefit. It is therefore wise to consider how the material is delivered before deciding which course to subscribe to.

Always keep in mind, access to course materials expires and you should note the expiration date prior to buying. Some questions and simulation software will become disabled at a certain time after activation. As well, some courses have materials which are available to students for a set periods before they become inaccessible. The access expiry is usually only relevant when you access online materials, but the material can become redundant as subjects may alter. If you buy the type that does expire, ensure you have ample time to understand the materials prior to expiration.

2) Practice Questions

Practice questions are a great way to make sure students understand key concepts. They help make it easy to retain through use of practical examples in case studies.

Each of the CPA review courses take varying approaches with practice questions. Most courses aim to cover every possible question likely to come up in the CPA exam. While this may be a safe route to take, it can also be quite time-consuming. It is not unusual for students to run out of time and not succeed in covering some of the most likely questions. This impacts on their exam preparation and ability to succeed.

Other courses take a different approach and restrict sample questions to provide a basic overview of all topics. This can also result in students not having adequate preparation. It is not ideal.

The best CPA review course will contain relevant practice questions. It is possible to limit options through considered analysis of previous exam papers and to focus on questions appearing more frequently. This method ensures students use their time effectively and have a high probability of revising questions most likely to show up in an exam.

3) Student Support

All CPA review courses offer some form of student support. If ask questions and prefer speaking to tutors over the phone, then be sure to choose a review course which offers that service. Some courses offer very little student support while other courses carry out support via email. Other review courses rely on interactive support and provide forums or convenient message boards where students can interact with their peers and the instructors. Obviously, you should check whichever course you decide to buy offers the right level of support to suit your needs.

4) Frequency of Updates

CPA exam materials are regularly updated due to accounting legislature changes. Some review courses update more frequently than others, so be sure to take this into consideration when selecting a course.

Something to consider, that has previously been mentioned, is price. However, considering the typical substantial pay-raise that is experienced by many accountants after gaining CPA certification, it is advised that you choose a CPA review course based on quality and assistance from the instructors, rather soley on the cost.
